Do you know about the Children’s Mirai Housing Support Project?

I want to buy a home of my own, but new homes are expensive. However, they are worried about buying an existing house…. This is a system that can be utilized by such households raising children and young couples, and a maximum of 1,000,000 yen to 600,000 yen can be received as subsidies.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is the main agency promoting this subsidy program, which is available for new houses, condominiums, or remodeling work if certain conditions are met.

In this issue, we will explain who is eligible for new homes and homes for sale, and the buildings and timeframes for which they are eligible.

‘Those who are eligible’

Must be either a household with children or a young couple!

  • Households with children are those with children born on or after April 2, 2003 at the time of application.
  • A young couple household is defined as a household where the couple is married at the time of application and one of them was born on or after April 2, 1981.

Those who construct a new house by concluding a construction contract with the Children’s Mirai Housing Enterprise.

The “Kodomo Mirai Jutaku Jigyo Kigyo” (Children’s Mirai Jutaku Business Operator) will handle the grant application procedures on behalf of the consumer,
Housing enterprises that have pre-registered with the project as those who will return the subsidies received to the consumers.

New homes and homes for sale that are “eligible.”

Construction of a new custom-built house: A construction contract must be signed between November 26, 2007 and October 31, 2022, and construction must begin by October 31, 2022, after registration of the business.

Purchase of a house for sale: A sales contract must be concluded between November 26, 2007 and October 31, 2022, and construction must begin by October 31, 2022, after registration of the business.

It is important to note that depending on the number of applications, if the budget is reached before the deadline, it may no longer apply.
